FAQ About Our Playhouses

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Using pay pal's "bill me later" program you can qualify for up to 6 months no interest financing. See details here BillMeLater

What form of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards as well as check, money order or cash.

Do I need a permit?

Permit requirements vary from place to place, so you will need to check with your local zoning and planning department. If you belong to a HOA (home owners association) you will need to check their requirements as well. We will be happy to supply you with any information required such as dimensions, floor plans etc.

What type of foundation is required?

There are three options for the foundation. A good option is to level the ground and use pressure treated 4 x 4's as a base. A better option is to use pressure treated 4 x 4's on a gravel base. The best option is to pour a concrete slab. With any of these options, the base will need to be ready when we arrive (ground leveled, gravel placed or concrete poured). We will provide the pressure treated lumber.

How do I place an order?

For plans or kits you can order online or call us to place your order. Payment for plans and kits is required in full before the item can be shipped For a pre-built playhouse, you will need to call to place your order. We require a deposit of 50% with the balance due upon delivery.

How long does it take for my playhouse to be delivered?

Delivery for kits and pre-built playhouses usually takes 3 - 4 weeks, however this can vary depending on our work load at the time of your order. If you are purchasing a playhouse for a specific event such as a birthday or holiday, we recommend that you give us as much advance notice as possible.

What type of wood do you use?

All of our framing is douglas or hemlock fir. The exterior siding and all trim work are western red cedar. Each of these are chosen for their superior strength, resistance to insects and rot and aesthetic appeal. Porch and deck surfaces and railings can be upgraded to redwood or composite materials which will further increase durability.

What type of warranty do you offer?

All playhouses carry a warranty of 1 year that covers defects in materials and workmanship. All exterior surfaces must be painted, stained or otherwise sealed in order for warranty to remain valid. Warranty does not cover normal wear or abuse.
